Mechanical Assembly: An Expert Eye For Complex Requirements In Terms Of Part Durability And Longevity.

“ The part is no longer moving. The bearings are stuck. It’s killing our productivity. It’s problematic! ”. Explains a pulp mill customer when he calls CCI. “ Send it to us,” replies Louis Couture, engineer and founder of CCI.

The components arrive at CCI. The mechanical assembly is disassembled and inspected. The parts are shot. Rusty. The bearings are dead. Sometimes the parts have been in service for a few months, or even a few weeks. “This is often the case with equipment components in the pulp and paper industry, which are worked hard,” confides Louis.

After inspection, depending on the condition of the part and the use to which it will be put, CCI and the customer decide whether to recondition it or manufacture a new part. In both cases, the process and treatment chosen will take into account the specific use and performance requirements of the equipment that will receive the part.

Mechanical assembly is the last stage before delivery. CCI offers its customers a turnkey service designed to reduce the number of operators and, consequently, maintenance costs. Our expertise extends from problem analysis to part reassembly. The parts entrusted to CCI are returned to the customer ready to be installed in the equipment.
