We see in the first photo, the original elbow which had a durability of a few months and the improved version made by CCI. The one CCI made contains interchangeable components, which reduces production stoppages and extends the lifespan to a few years.
In the second photo of the canvas guide, the CCI engineering team has replaced the slide sections of the part which were originally made of cast iron with interchangeable plates made of hardened steel alloys. This process makes it possible to increase the durability of the slides and also reduce production downtime since the new inserts are easily changed. With this kind of change, we were able to maintain the integrity of the original part.
